Yall, I can’t explain it. But this place swept us off our feet. The service was amazing, highlighting David. He was super knowledgeable about the food from the pronunciations to the flavor. Very very nice guy and was the cherry on top of our experience. We had the uttapam as an appetizer, oh my goodness. It was a dance with every bite. The pancake it was on was sooo amazing! My boyfriend had the chicken curry (hot) and I had the paneer curry (medium). He absolutely loved every bite and so did I! I never had paneer so I was skeptical at first but once I tried it, I fell in love! David also recommended the malabar parotta with our meals and it was the right move! We took two orders of it and thank goodness we did because I definitely wouldn’t want to share! Haha. And last, we had the blueberry cheesecake. The messy but perfect presentation of it all was delicious to the eye and had us basically cleaning the plate! I had to take some photos, it’s even more delicious than it looks!! I couldn’t help but feel amazing afterwards, even though I ate a lot. And that tells me they cook with high quality ingredients and love. Thank you David, chefs, and staff for a wonderful experience.

I truly enjoy every moment I spend at Mesa! The food is some of the best Indian food I have ever had. As a Malayalee, coming to such a beautiful restaurant that serves traditional Kerala dishes with unique and exciting twists on flavor and presentation is so special. I look forward to trying the new dishes each season and being greeted by/interacting with all the friendly members of the team. Chef Saji and her son Brandon have created such a lovely, welcoming, and warm space for all to learn about and enjoy food from Kerala. I have never had a disappointing meal or experience at Mesa. Everyone is exceptional at what they do. Mesa deserves every bit of praise it receives and more!

Happy Birthday Ms. Saji! 🎂🧿 My husband and I recently dined at Mesa, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. We ordered the Pav Bhaji, Jackfruit Biryani, and Lamb Chops, and every dish was outstanding. The food was flavorful and thoughtfully balanced. One thing we especially appreciated was how light and fresh everything felt—we left completely satisfied without feeling bloated. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the hospitality. Ms. Saji, the owner, personally interacted with guests throughout the evening. During our conversation, she shared her commitment to using fresh coconut oil and avoiding unnecessary additives that artificially enhance flavor, texture, or appearance. She made us feel right at home and even went into the kitchen multiple times to bring us samples of dishes we hadn’t ordered so we could experience more of the menu and take it home to enjoy later. The service was equally impressive. From the host to the servers, everyone was professional, personable, attentive, and genuinely invested in making guests feel welcome.

I searched for best restaurant in Jacksonville and Mesa popped up, I didn’t realized I would have a food experience and such a nuisanced take on Indian food. Saaji the owner, her story from being a home cook to building Mesa is incredible and you gotta try the food here. Come with an open mind and be ready to be surprised!

I forgot to take pictures of mains, my husband had the kerela shrimp and grits option and I had the chicken curry. The food was average. I wouldn’t say amazing or anything just standard good. I did enjoy the masala fries . I was left wanting to be honest. I was expecting more from this restaurant as modern indian type place, I know I got the standard safe curry choice and that’s because nothing else kinda stood out to me. Everything was prepared well , just not what I was expecting. Having had various Indian foods from differing regions in India I was pretty excited. Alas it was a just a standard meal especially at price points.
